Billy Moyer Records Strong Runner-Up Finish at Texas Motor Speedway!
(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Hall of Famer Billy Moyer and his #21 Dirt Late
Model team trekked south to the state-of-the-art Texas Motor Speedway
in Fort Worth, Texas over the weekend for the 7th Annual 'Texas World
Dirt Track Championship.' The O'Reilly SUPR Late Model Series sanctioned
the one-day show on Saturday, February 27 and a $3,500 top prize was
up for grabs.
Billy ran well in heat race action and later started the 40-lap feature
event from the fourth position. He quickly moved up to the second spot
and pressured race leader Jack Sullivan for the point. After working
every groove imaginable around the pristine dirt oval, "Mr. Smooth"
settled for a strong runner-up effort to Sullivan. You can view complete
results from the Texas Motor Speedway by accessing www.suprracing.com.
The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team is still undecided about this upcoming
weekend, as they may or may not race. If Billy does decide to sling
dirt this weekend, you can find out first by visiting the schedule page
