BMR ON THE ROAD ON SUMMER NATIONALS TOUR
June 21, 2017 ---
Afternoon rain showers have cancelled tonight's UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals showdown at Farley Speedway in Farley, Iowa. There will be no makeup date for the $10,000 to win event and the "Hell Tour" will now move on to Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois on Thursday, June 22.

June 20, 2017 --- Following a rare day off, the #21 team was back on the road with the UMP Summer Nationals tour tonight in another $5,000 to win battle at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Illinois. Billy Moyer clicked off the fastest lap in his group during qualifying and later won yet another heat race. After drawing the outside of the front row for the start of the 40-lapper, Billy drove past early leader Brent Larson on the eleventh circuit and led the remainder of the feature distance to pocket the $5,000 winner's share. June 18, 2017 --- The first week of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals wrapped up tonight with a $5,000 to win throwdown at Daugherty Speedway in Boswell, Indiana. Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer Billy Moyer timed in second fastest in his group during qualifying before recording his fifth straight heat race triumph. Billy then started the 30-lap headliner from the pole position and wound up a strong runner-up behind only victor Shannon Babb.

June 17, 2017 --- The fourth leg of the "Hell Tour" grind took the #21 BMR team to Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois tonight. Billy Moyer posted the second quickest lap in his group during time trials and later won his heat race in preliminary action. After leading the first thirteen circuits of the 60-lapper, heavy rains rolled through the area and canceled the remainder of the race after only 20 laps. Billy was in the third position and the event, which was downgraded to $5,000 to win, has since been deemed official. "Mr. Smooth" was credited with a third place showing behind only winner Billy Moyer, Jr. and runner-up Bobby Pierce.

June 16, 2017 --- The grueling UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour made their first-ever stop at Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Illinois tonight and 38 competitors showed up to vie for the $7,500 payday. Billy Moyer clicked off the second quickest time in Group B during the qualifying session prior to scoring another heat race victory. After rolling off from the outside of the second row in the 40-lap main event, Billy drove by early leader Brian Shirley to grab the point on the eighth circuit. June 15, 2017 --- Round two of the "Hell Tour" ventured north to Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois tonight for another $5,000 to win throwdown. Billy Moyer clicked off the fastest lap overall of the 29 entrants during qualifying to earn Fast Time honors and later claimed another heat race triumph. After starting third on the grid in the 40-lap feature event, Billy suffered from a soft tire combination in the headliner and eventually wound up fifteenth in the final finishing order.

June 14, 2017 --- The 2017 edition of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals kicked off tonight at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. A $5,000 winner's check was on the line at the 1/4-mile, semi-banked oval in the annual running of the 'Hoosier Dirt Classic.' Billy Moyer stopped the clock eighth fastest in Group A, but stormed to the front in his heat race to score the prelim victory. After starting the 40-lapper from the outside of the front row, Billy stalked leader Jackie Boggs throughout the race before making the pass for the lead on the 37th circuit. MOYER SOLID THROUGHOUT DLM DREAM WEEKEND
June 11, 2017 ---
Billy Moyer and the Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team made the trek to the hallowed high-banks of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on June 8-10 for the 23rd Annual 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' The crown jewel extravaganza drew 79 Super Late Model competitors to the 1/2-mile speedplant to vie for the whopping $100,000 winner's check. Things kicked off at the "Big E" with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs, which paid $5,000 and $10,000 to win respectively.

Billy won his heat race on Thursday night prior to moving up to finish fourth in the 25-lap feature behind only winner Scott Bloomquist, Chris Madden, and Jimmy Mars. On Friday evening, Billy once again scored a triumph in his heat race before landing in the sixth finishing position in the 25-lapper. When things really heated up in the Buckeye State on Saturday, the Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer grabbed the third and final transfer spot through his stacked heat race and eventually guided his famed #21 machine to a twelfth place performance in the 100-lap 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' BILLY MOYER COMPETES IN SHOW-ME 100...
May 29, 2017 ---
Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) made their way to the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri from May 25-28 for the 25th edition of the 'Show-Me 100,' which was once again sanctioned by both the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA Series. Billy Moyer finished fifteenth in Thursday night's $6,000 to win preliminary program, while he ran eighteenth in Friday evening's $6,000 to win prelim. By virtue of amassing the seventeenth most points, Billy started the 'Show-Me 100' from the inside of the ninth row. After the 100-lapper was pushed back to Sunday due to inclement weather, "Mr. Smooth" unfortunately drew a lap 75 caution flag and was relegated to a twentieth place performance in the crown jewel spectacular, which once again boasted a $30,000 top prize. MOYER GETS PAIR OF TOP FIVES IN ILLINOIS!
May 15, 2017 ---
Billy Moyer and his famed #21 team headed to a trio of different facilities in the Land of Lincoln from May 11-14 for a lucrative quadruple header with the MARS Dirt Car Series. On Thursday night at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois in the 'Farmer City 74' opener, Billy won his heat race prior to moving up to third in the $3,000 to win main event to finish behind only winner Shannon Babb and runner-up Mason Zeigler. In the $20,000 to win 'Farmer City 74' finale on Friday evening, Billy placed second in his heat race and eighth in the 74-lap headliner.

The dirt-slinging action then took the BMR team to Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois on Saturday, but Billy was unfortunately unable to transfer into the $10,000 to win 'FALS Frenzy.' The four-race weekend then wrapped up on Sunday with a stop at Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois for a $5,000 to win tilt. The Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer won his heat race in preliminary action prior to knocking down a fifth place performance in the A-Main to finish behind only victor Gregg Satterlee, Bobby Pierce, Billy Moyer, Jr., and Shannon Babb! BILLY MOYER GETS WIN #818 AT INDEPENDENCE!
May 7, 2017 ---
Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer Billy Moyer wrapped up a Lucas Oil MLRA Series tripleheader in the Hawkeye State in victory lane, as he notched career win #818 on Saturday evening, May 6 at Independence Motor Speedway in Independence, Iowa! Billy won his heat race in preliminary action and later started the 40-lap headliner from the pole position. He then dominated the caution-free feature to lead wire-to-wire to claim the $3,000 winner's check over Rodney Sanders, Chris Simpson, Brent Larson, and Jimmy Mars!

Earlier in the extended weekend, the #21 team was in the pit area at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa and Davenport Speedway in Davenport, Iowa for two more $3,000 to win MLRA showdowns. On Thursday night at Lee County, Billy placed third in his heat race before picking off six competitors during the 40-lapper en route to a strong fifth place showing behind only victor Chris Simpson, Tony Jackson, Jr., Jimmy Mars, and Chad Simpson. At Davenport on Friday, Billy effectively scratched from the program following a seventh place heat race finish on the 1/4-mile oval. MOYER RUNNER-UP IN SURPRISE VISIT TO FCR
April 22, 2017 ---
Billy Moyer and his famed #21 team snuck into one of their favorite venues - Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois - on Friday evening, April 21 to enter a weekly UMP Super Late Model program. Billy laid down the second fastest lap overall during the qualifying session prior to scoring a victory in heat race action. After starting the $1,000 to win main event from the outside of the front row, Billy hung around the front at the 1/4-mile bullring before notching a strong runner-up performance behind only race winner Kent Robinson. BILLY MOYER TACKLES WHEATLAND DOUBLE-DIP
April 16, 2017 ---
Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) invaded the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on April 14-15 for the two-day 'Spring Nationals.' The Lucas Oil MLRA Series presided over the doubleheader weekend, which kicked off on Friday night with a $2,000 to win shootout. Billy Moyer ran fourth in his heat race and later moved up a couple of spots during the 25-lapper on his way to an eleventh place showing. In Saturday's $3,000 to win weekend finale at Wheatland, Billy finished sixth in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and twenty-fourth in the final finishing order of the 40-lap feature event. MOYER TACKLES LUCAS FOES IN BAD BOY 98
April 9, 2017 ---
Billy Moyer and his famed #21 BMR team found themselves in the pit area at the nearby Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas on April 7-8 for the annual running of the 'Bad Boy 98.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series biggie drew 45 entrants to the Razorback State for the two-day extravaganza, which boasted a whopping $20,000 winner's check. On Friday night, Billy clicked off the sixth fastest time in Group A during qualifying before grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot through his loaded heat race. After starting fifteenth on the grid in Saturday's 98-lap feature event, Billy was unfortunately an early retiree in the 'Bad Boy 98' and was placed twenty-fourth in the final finishing order. BILLY MOYER ON PODIUM IN TWO-DAY ILLINI 100!
April 3, 2017 ---
Billy Moyer and his #21 team rolled into Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on April 1-2 for the annual running of the 'Illini 100,' which was once again sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. The doubleheader actually started on Saturday evening due to inclement weather and a $15,000 winner's check was on the line in the weekend opener. Billy clicked off the third fastest lap in Group B during qualifying prior to running second in heat race action. After starting fifth on the grid in the 75-lapper, Billy vaulted forward during the headliner and eventually nabbed a strong third place podium effort behind only winner Brandon Sheppard and runner-up Brian Shirley.

Things then wrapped up at the 1/4-mile bullring in the Land of Lincoln on Sunday afternoon with a $6,000 to win shootout, which was initially scheduled for Friday night before heavy rain hit the area. Billy knocked down the quickest time in Group B during the qualifying session, won his heat race, and later led the majority of the 25-lap sprint. BMR FOURTH IN WOOLMS VISIT TO WHYNOT
March 27, 2017 ---
The #21 BMR team was scheduled to follow the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series tour to the states of Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas from March 24-26 for a trio of high-profile shootouts. Things kicked off on Friday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi with a $10,000 to win affair. Billy Moyer qualified third quickest in Group B during time trials prior to scoring a victory in heat race action. After starting the 50-lap main event from the outside of the front row, Billy led almost the first half of the race before sliding back to fourth at the checkers to trail only winner Brandon Sheppard, Timothy Culp, and Chris Madden.

Following a washout of Saturday's action at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas, the busy weekend concluded with an $8,000 to win showdown on Sunday evening at Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, Texas. Billy clicked off the fifth quickest time overall during qualifying and later ran second in his loaded heat race. "Mr. Smooth" then rolled off from the outside of the second row in the 40-lapper, but unfortunately retired after only 17 circuits and was relegated to a disappointing twenty-second place effort.
